The Challenge: SyncTV, a spin-off of Pioneer Electronics, wanted to raise awareness of its launch of an unlimited TV download service.
The Solution: Frith PR took a Web 2.0 approach to the SyncTV launch. We highlighted the most influential blogs of all of its competitors, created traditional and social media press releases, recorded a podcast interview with SyncTV, advised the creation of a corporate blog and a YouTube demo video, and pitched to top-tier bloggers and media for pre-briefings.
The Results: Within seven days of the launch, the phrase 'SyncTV' had 1.2 million entries in Google. 90% of the top 30 blogs we highlighted wrote about the launch. In the first two days after the launch, we received over 40 media and blogger requests to join the beta program, with many thousands more consumers applying to join the beta through the website.
